Air Fryer Sweet Carrots
If you are looking for a delicious side dish to complement any meal, these sweet carrots are amazing! They are simple to prepare, don’t take super long in the air fryer, and are a big hit with kids and adults alike. I can guarantee these will become a side dish staple in your menu.
Prepare carrots

Start by peeling and cutting your carrots in pieces 3-5 inches long and 1/2 inch thick (about the size of a baby carrot) if you are using whole carrots. You can skip this step if you are using baby carrots.

Preheat air fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 390 degrees while you finish preparing the carrots.
Melt butter

Melt 2 Tbsp butter in the microwave (this takes about 30-60 seconds depending on your microwave).
Pour butter and sugar over carrots

Pour melted butter, 2 Tbsp brown sugar. and 1/4 tsp salt over carrots and mix quickly as the butter will start to harden on the cold carrots.
Cook carrots in air fryer
Cook carrots in air fryer for 20 minutes at 390 degrees. I like to take the carrots off the tray halfway through and put them in the bottom with the melted butter and sugar for the remainder of the time.
Enjoy!
